48 Guided Learning Hours (GLH)

What the qualification covers
The qualification is made up of three mandatory units:
Unit 1: Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
You will explore the role of a teacher or trainer, including professional responsibilities, boundaries, legislation, and how to work effectively with others in an education and training setting.
Unit 2: Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches
This unit focuses on inclusive practice, learning styles, lesson planning, and how to create a supportive learning environment that meets the needs of all learners.
Unit 3: Understanding assessment in education and training
You will develop an understanding of assessment methods, assessment planning, feedback, record keeping, and the importance of fair and valid assessment.
